One of the world’s greatest symbols of eternal love, the Taj Mahal
was commissioned by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1632 as a
monument to his beloved late wife. Constructed over 22 years by
more than 20,000 people, this white marble mausoleum, set amid
